Short-Term Running Goals:

On my way back.  Injuries and law school have taken their toll, but things are great now.  I've been logging mileage trying to build back to the 90s-100s.  No specific race goals right now, but I'm trying to race more.  I will re-examine in Spring.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Sub-2:30 Marathon.

Personal:

I am currently attending Law School at St. Louis University--in my last semester.  I am not married, but dating a wonderful girl named Michelle.  I love playing piano and acting--in musicals.

Miserable cold....So I hit the track.  I did "rep" work (90% effort short intervals) just over 2 miles worth.  They felt good.  It was nice to run indoors on a day like today.

Long excruciatingly slow run--in the cold.  Only started to loosen up in the last 2-3 miles.  Glad that it is over with today.

Cold? Did it get below 50F today? Just kidding glad to see you back on the blog. It will help motivate me. Now if we could just be in the same city or even state for a run again. No travels for us this winter not planning on coming back to the Midwest until spring/summer.

On a separate note watched Angels and Demons tonight, interesting flick.

"Cruise Intervals" today.  5 x 850m.  Mile pace for the intervals: 5:36, 5:27, 5:26, 5:15: 5:12

Felt pretty good.  Short rest inbetween 1:00 to 1:10.  Ready to race again to try to improve on the "new" PRs.

It pays to read the details. I read this as mile repeats at first...

SLOW easy run.  Felt a bit beat up from yesterday.  A touch of a cold as well.

Had to run indoors due to a lot of snow, but I got on the indoor track and did a few easy threshold surges.  Felt pretty good.  Still pretty congested, but glad to get going again.
