Short-Term Running Goals:

On my way back.  Injuries and law school have taken their toll, but things are great now.  I've been logging mileage trying to build back to the 90s-100s.  No specific race goals right now, but I'm trying to race more.  I will re-examine in Spring.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Sub-2:30 Marathon.

Personal:

I am currently attending Law School at St. Louis University--in my last semester.  I am not married, but dating a wonderful girl named Michelle.  I love playing piano and acting--in musicals.

easy run.  Felt OK.  It was very cold and very windy, and the knee had a bit of a dull pain in it.  I am going shorter tomorrow, so hopefully things are good.

Progression run on the indoor track at SLU.

Last "fast" mile was in 5:23.  Felt pretty comfortable doing it.

Twinges of pain in the knee/upper calf, but nothing too serious.

You are going to Law School at St. Louis University. That is cool my older sister is trying to get into law schools. She really want to go to BUY. Then put it on hold and go on a mission. You are a good runner and run a lot of miles. I am always saying I need to run more miles.

easy.....faster finish.

back/knee/calf all felt ok--about 85%.  Nothing to get overly excited about, but nothing really bad either.  Hopefully, things will keep moving in the right direction.

Sounds like things are shaping up for you. It was good talking to you again the other day. Wish it was because of better circumstances. Good news is things continue to improve.

Beautiful weather!  70+ degrees in the middle of January!

Of course, this is the day I get sick.  I'm not floored, but still had a horribly runny nose and a headache and general body ache and fatigue.

Anyway, I decided to go for a run because often times running will help me feel a bit better.  I'm not sure if today is one of those times (I just got back from slogging through the miles), but I couldn't resist the nice weather.

On a happy note, the knees/back/calves felt pretty good.

And congratulations to my brother-in-law's basketball team for their impressive victory yesterday.

Are you out from being sick or just not logging?

How was your trip to Kansas?

Back and healthy yet?
